Road Worn Fender Telecasters 'are cool'
Posted on 23 Jul 2009 17:00 to category : Instruments News

The publication described the Fender Telecasters as some of the "coolest" electric guitars to have been released this year.
Guitar World said the instruments have been "masterfully" aged to look like they have been hard at work on the road for years.
"Nothing looks, feels and plays like a broken-in guitar," it commented.
"Fender's brand-new Road Worn Series guitars haven't done any time out of the factory, but they certainly look like they did."
The publication also noted that the Fender Telecasters are easily affordable for working musicians.
Guitar World added that the instruments have been based on classic electric guitars from the 1950s and 1960s, although it said each model contains a number of modern upgrades, such as Tex Mex single-coil pickups.
Fender Telecasters are among the most popular rock guitars and have been favoured by musicians including Keith Richards, Francis Rossi, Joe Strummer and Bruce Springsteen.
