Rihanna cancels opening show
Posted on 29 Jun 2010 16:30 to category : Music News

Rihanna has been forced to cancel the opening concert of her 'Last Girl On Earth' tour.
The run of shows was due to start in Washington, US, on Friday (02.07.10) but the first gig has been scrapped due to "production changes".
It is believed the next date, in Vancouver, Canada, will go ahead on Sunday (04.07.10), with the other dates scheduled to run as planned.
Despite the new start date the support acts remain the same with pop starlet Kesha and Gym Class Heroes frontman Travis McCoy joining Rihanna, 22, on the road.
Rihanna recently spoke about her excitement about going on the road, promising fans a bigger and better show than ever before.
She said: "We've never done a tour to this capacity. The production is unbelievable and the costumes, we just took it to a whole new level.
"Visually and sonically it's going to be a big step up from the last time. We just keep growing, and this time it is a massive production that I cannot wait for."
