Richard Hawley set for Sheffield gig
The guitar player is set to appear at the Magana venue in the steel city of Sheffield come the autumn.
And the September gig will feature non other than the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, according to BBC Radio 6 Music Publicity.
This will mark Richard's debut performance alongside an orchestra on UK shores.
It's all part of a collection of performances tied in with Radio 6 Music – the BBC music station.
Alongside Hawley, other musicians involved in these are the likes of New Order, as well as Photoshop Hansom band Everything Everything and The xx.
Complimentary tickets will apparently be released for some 6 Music performances, with people encouraged to listen to 6 Music for details.
Hawley's gig is set for September 8th.
