Red Hot Chili Peppers' new guitarist makes debut appearance
Posted on 1 Feb 2010 14:04 to category : Band / Celebrity News

Red Hot Chili Pepper's new electric guitar player, Josh Klinghoffer, has joined the band on stage for the first time.
Last month, widespread media reports suggested that Klinghoffer was the man being lined up to replace outgoing electric guitar player John Frusciante.
But no official announcement was made by the band - meaning that Klinghoffer's appearance with the group at the MusicCares Person of the Year dinner last night was a hotly anticipated event.
Red Hot Chili Peppers performed a cover of Neil Young's A Man Needs a Maid at the dinner, which was being held in honour of the solo star.
It is believed that Klinghoffer has been playing electric guitar in the studio with the band since autumn last year as they work on a new album, reports Xfm.
Red Hot Chili Pepper have had a long music career, spanning more than 20 years and including hits such as By The Way and Californication.
