Reason 8.2 Released
The latest update makes it even easier for new and existing Reason 8 customers to download, install, and stay up to date with the latest version.
The new convenient auto-update feature means Reason now detects and downloads the most recent eligible software updates so users will always have the latest version.
The Reason 8.2 update addresses many requested features including Revert browsing-a new workflow in Reason's browser that will be familiar to users of previous versions-more colours in the sequencer, expanded Remote support for Redrum Drum Machine and streamlined sound bank handling.
One of the major things being worked on by Propellerhead with this new update is integration between mobile and desktop solutions.
The free music creation apps Take and Figure are an example of this work.
Take is a 3 track audio recorder that uses the built in iPhone microphone with effects, vocal tuning and a selection of beats to work to.
Figure is a beat creation app that allows the creation of a drum track, bass track and lead track and then various processing and effects.
Both of these apps are fully integrated with Reason. They allow you to share your creations with the Propellerhead community and collaborate with others.
Equally you can discover pieces from the Propellerhead community and edit in Take and Figure whilst on the move – or Reason at your desktop then and continue working – remixing and contributing.
Reason 8.2 is available as a free downloadable update for Reason 8 owners.
