Radiohead to release two tracks on vinyl for Record Store Day
Electric guitar band Radiohead are throwing their weight behind Record Store Day by releasing a limited edition two-track vinyl.
According to the group's fan site At Ease Web, it is believed only 2,000 copies of the record will go on sale on April 16th in each country of release, priced in the region of £10 in the UK.
The two songs contained on the 12-inch vinyl pressing will be The Butcher and Supercollider, with the latter tune being one that has been played during previous live shows by the band.
Radiohead launched the physical edition of new record The King of Limbs yesterday (March 28th), after it was provided as a digital download earlier this year.
To mark the occasion, the band produced a free newspaper called The Universal Sigh, which was handed out in a number of cities across the world.
Fans in London who queued for the publication were greeted by the group's lead singer Thom Yorke, as the star was helping to hand out copies.
Other artists to be bringing out special tracks in support of Record Store Day include solo star Adele, electric guitar legends AC/DC and Damon Albarn's Gorillaz.
