Radiohead to perform new album on BBC
Radiohead are planning to air a performance of their latest album on the BBC.
It will be the first time that The King of Limbs will be performed live in its entirety. And shown as part of the Beeb's From the Basement series.
Details of the showing, such as which channel it will be on, are yet to be fully released, however, it is known that it will be filmed in high definition and screened on July 1st.
The King of Limbs is the group's eighth studio album and was released on February 18th this year. It peaked at number seven in the UK album chart and number three in the US's Billboard 200. It is the group's first album since 1995's The Bends not to reach the top of the UK chart.
It features eight tracks in total, including Bloom, Little By Little, Feral and the single Lotus Flower.
In a recent interview with BBC 6 Music, the band's guitar player Ed O'Brien said that the group has recorded other songs for the album which will never see the light of day.
"There are [other] songs that we have started, that we never finished, but there's not like seven or eight finished songs waiting in the wings to be released now, or in the autumn," he said.
