Radiohead debut new song at Haiti fundraiser
Posted on 25th Jan 2010 14:20 to category Band / Celebrity News
Radiohead treated fans attending a special charity concert to a first listen to new song Lotus Flower.
The gig, which took place at the Music Box Theatre in Los Angeles, included several well-loved Radiohead tracks from down the years, with Karma Police, Lucky and Street Spirit among them.
Tickets for the gig were auctioned off to raise money for Oxfam's work in Haiti helping survivors of the recent earthquake.
Lotus Flower had previously been performed live in a solo show by frontman and electric guitar player Thom Yorke, but this was the first time it had been played by Radiohead in their entirety.
Last week, Yorke said that he is planning on doing more solo shows in April.
The electric guitar player told the BBC that he was not sure he would be releasing any more solo material in the near future, but confirmed Radiohead are returning to the studio this month.
