Radiohead close to completing new album
Radiohead guitar player Ed O'Brien has revealed the band are a "matter of weeks" from finishing their next album.
Speaking to BBC 6 Music, O'Brien revealed that Radiohead changed the way they worked after taking their time over last record In Rainbows, which he described as a "slog" to make.
"We decided at the end of the record never to do it like this again," the electric guitar player explained.
"That was kind of the end of Radiohead mark two."
Earlier this year, O'Brien said that the current uncertainty about the future of the music industry offers a great chance for young musicians to innovate as much as possible.
He told the BBC that the industry is currently lacking in a bit of "fun and creativity" and there is the potential for this to be altered by the fact the world of music is going through a time of change.Posted on 21 Jun 2010 17:30 to category : Band / Celebrity News
