RTE puts out the call for young guitarists

Ireland's public service broadcaster has put out the call for young guitarists interested in appearing in a new TV show.
Anyone with parental consent who will be aged under 17 by October 1st 2009 can apply for the programme, with auditions taking place in Galway, Dublin, Athlone, Cork, Limerick, Waterford and Belfast next week.
People can also apply by uploading their videos online before April 29th, with full details available on the show's official website.
A Fender Rory Gallagher Tribute Stratocaster will go to the winner of the competition, which will take place towards the end of this year.
Gallagher was one of Ireland's most famous blues guitarists and a full-size bronze replica of his famous 1961 Fender Stratocaster hangs at Rory Gallagher Corner in Temple Bar, Dublin.
