RTAS version of ReValver MKIII released
Posted on 18 May 2009 11:55 to category : Instruments News
Peavey Electronics has released the RTAS version of its ReValver MKIII amp modelling software as a free upgrade on its website.
The update is available to everyone who has already purchased a copy of the acclaimed product, which has won rave reviews from inside the music trade.
"In terms of sounding and feeling like a real amp, ReValver is easily the best software I've tried," wrote Michael Ross for EQ magazine. "I will stack ReValver against any other software and more than a few boutique amps."
Mr Ross also praised the software in an article for Guitar Player magazine, readers of which recently named it Best Home Studio Gear of 2009.
ReValver has won a number of other accolades in recent months, including a Value Award from Future Music and a Premier Gear Award from Premier Guitar.
In January, Peavey also picked up a prize for its VYPYR Series at Music & Sound Retailer's Music & Sound Awards.
