Queen's musical to be extended for another year
Posted on 27 Oct 2009 18:00 to category : Band / Celebrity News

Queen's electric guitar player has hailed the musical based on the band's music as one of London's biggest success stories.
We Will Rock You opened at the Dominion in 2002 and has also recently been on a UK tour.
It has now been confirmed that the musical's run at the London theatre will be extended for another year, a development that has been welcomed by guitarist Brian May.
"Our show has come of age," he commented.
Roger Taylor, who hit the drum kit on anthems such as We Are The Champions and Radio Ga Ga, added that he can "hardly believe" the show has been such a hit.
"Deep down, people just love laughter and rock and roll I guess," he said.
"That's a good night out."
We Will Rock You, which was written by Ben Elton, is a science fiction story designed to incorporate 24 Queen classics, including I Want to Break Free, Under Pressure and Hammer to Fall.
