Queen photo exhibition to rock Edinburgh
Posted on 18 Oct 2009 10:00 to category : Band / Celebrity News

Historic images of electric guitar player Brian May and vocalist Freddie Mercury are to feature in a new photo exhibition.
Rare images showing the Queen musicians before they achieved global fame will be displayed at Ocean Terminal, Edinburgh this week.
This will include an image of Brian May holding his iconic homemade electric guitar at the age of just 17 and Mercury with his first band The Hectics.
The exhibition is being set up to coincide with next month's arrival of the We Will Rock You Musical at the Edinburgh Playhouse.
A spokeswoman for the venue said: "We are absolutely thrilled to be given these pictures to display."
Speaking to the Scotsman, she added that the exhibition should appeal to both hardcore Queen fans and anyone with an interest in the band.
Next month also sees the 18th anniversary of the death of Freddie Mercury, an event which will be marked with the unveiling of a Hollywood-style star in his home town of Feltham.
