Queen and Adam Lambert to rock Knebworth
Lambert first met the British rock band on the hit TV show American Idol and immediately hit it off.
They went on to perform at the recent MTV Europe Awards, delivering a performance that surprised many – it was out of this world.
After receiving endless emails and social media messages about whether the two forces would jam again, Queen's guitarist, Brian May, finally confirmed that they had settled on a date and location.
"Judging by my incoming mail, this decision will make a lot of people very happy," he said.
"It's a worthy challenge for us, and I'm sure Adam would meet with Freddie's approval! And what better place to revisit, and walk those emotional paths than Knebworth? It will be a rush."
Lambert added that he was in awe of Queen and that it would be an honour to pay his respects to his hero Freddie Mercury.
"I am deeply grateful for the chance to sing such powerful music for fans of this legendary band," he said.
