Pulp reveal Sheffield gig news
Now it has emerged that Jarvis Cocker fronted music instrument playing band Pulp will be treating fans to some special gig action, soon.
A concert from the band is due to take place this December. And it won't surprise fans to hear that Sheffield is to be the location of the Brit Pop legends' concert.
As they revealed via Twitter recently: "Pulp come home for Christmas. Sheffield Arena, Saturday 8 December 2012. Tissues optional. Presale starts now!"
Sheffield Arena - also known as the Motorpoint Arena - is also set to host concerts from the likes of Careless Whisper star George Michael and rapper Nicki Minaj soon.
Last year, Jarvis Cocker brought out a collection of his lyrics in book form under the title Mother, Brother Lover, which was published by Faber.
