Prince: Playing electric guitar keeps me young
Prince has said playing electric guitar has kept him looking and feeling young.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror ahead of the release of his latest album 20TEN, the star said he does not believe he has reached his peak and is "improving all the time" as a musician.
"Playing electric guitar your whole life does something to you," he added.
"I'm convinced all that electricity racing through my body made me keep my hair."
The star explained that his hugely-successful music career is the thing he dreamt of when starting out in the industry as a young man.
Last year, music writer Mike Benhaim listed Prince as his number one 'unsung guitar hero'.
The commentator stated that Prince's wide variety of musical talents - from his dance moves to his studio skills - mean that few people are truly aware of how good he is at playing the electric guitar.Posted on 6 Jul 2010 18:30 to category : Band / Celebrity News
