Primal Scream announce details of new album
Posted on 4 Feb 2013 10:02 to category : Band / Celebrity News

Entitled More Light, it will represent the follow-up to 2008's Beautiful Future which received positive reviews from the likes of Pitchfork Media, NME, Digital Spy and Gigwise.
Front man Bobby Gillespie previously spoke to Q Magazine about the album adding: "It's a rock 'n' roll record, but modern rock 'n' roll. Pretty psychedelic rock, it's kind of guitar-driven but we use guitars in an orchestral way, not in the normal way people make rock records. I think we do it in a more interesting way."
Primal Scream currently have a number of shows lined up surrounding the release of More Light with a headline performance at the Teenage Cancer Trust at Royal Albert Hall in London on March 21st.
The band are also due to perform at Tokyo Rocks 2013 in Japan on May 11th, while they will support The Stone Roses at Glasgow Green on June 15th.
