Posted on 14 Sep 2012 16:49 to category : Band / Celebrity News

Go West duo the Pet Shop Boys are going to be playing a gig alongside the music instruments of the BBC Philharmonic orchestra, for example.
Meanwhile, the Beach Boys - who are behind such well-known songs as Good Vibrations, Wouldn't It Be Nice? and God Only Knows – are going to play a gig later this month, on September 24th.
After that gig, there'll be a concert every week for several weeks. Other acts involved are the likes of Kate Rusby and Grace Kelly singer Mika.
"We have some amazing performers already confirmed and lots more exciting names in the pipeline," commented Radio 2's head of music, Jeff Smith.
"At Radio 2 we are dedicated to bringing the biggest and broadest range of talent across the contemporary musical spectrum to our audience. And this line-up will not disappoint."
