Pop sensation Adele is getting singing lessons

Adele has booked herself in for vocal lessons to keep her voice intact.
Great deals on musical instruments

Pop sensation Adele has booked herself in for more singing lessons despite being one of the biggest and most successful stars around at the moment.

This comes as a shock to fans as Adele is known for her amazing booming voice, which catapulted her to the top of the album charts with her second album 21.

She had stayed at number one 16 amazing weeks until Lady Gaga knocked her off.

Most people would have expected that the singer-songwriter would be receiving lessons on how to improve her skills on music instruments – not her voice.

Adele, who is originally from north London, is to receive tuition from Ron Anderson, who is seen as the best voice coach in the music business.

Having already worked with the likes of Alicia Keys, Joss Stone and even the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Anderson has an exceptional track record of success.

The lessons are not so much about changing or "improving" Adele's voice, but to educate her on how to minimise the wear and tear of vocal chords, which are often stretched by the big singers.

This was what caused her to cancel her US tour last month, which is a market her record bosses want to crack.

Adele was recently named the most powerful person in British music in a poll by the Guardian newspaper.
