Pop Group fans given chance to hear their punk guitars live again
Posted on 13 Jul 2010 16:11 to category : Band / Celebrity News

Fans of The Pop Group are to be given a chance to hear the band play their guitars live for the first time in almost 30 years.
The Bristol-based post-punkers are to reform for two gigs in London, which will take place at the Garage in Highbury on September 11th and 12th 2010.
All original members of the group - including guitar player Gareth Sager and singer Mark Stewart - are set to take part in the performances.
Followers of the cult group will be hoping to hear tunes from their two albums, Y and For How Much Longer Must We Tolerate Mass Murder.
"There was a lot left undone," the band explained of their decision to reform.
The Pop Group are the latest in a long line of legendary guitar groups who have reformed in recent years.
Last year saw Iggy Pop get back together with the Stooges, while the Sex Pistols took to the stage again in 2007.
