Plectrum makes singing easier for MB20 bassist

Brian Yale of US rock band Matchbox Twenty has revealed that he finds it much easier to sing harmonies now that he has begun to play bass guitar with a pick.
And as well as giving him a new tone, the pick has also helped the bassist to sing along to music while he is playing.
"I don't know why, but it's much easier," he remarked. "So now I can sing harmony when the band plays live."
Yale has played a large number of Gibson basses down the years, including a Custom Shop Standard Reissue VOS, an SG Standard Bass reissue and a signature Epiphone Jack Casady.
Other famous Gibson bass players include John Entwistle of The Who, Gene Simmons of Kiss and Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue.
