Posted on 20th Feb 2009 16:31 to category Instruments News
45 pieces of Fender gear, including renowned modern and vintage amps, are available on your desktop with the new IK Multimedia: AmpliTube Fender Edition.
AmpliTube Fender has been developed jointly between Fender and IK, to ensure that the guitar and bass tones the software provides are realistic recreations of some highly regarded amps.
Fender amp’s Senior Marketing Manager, Shane Nicholas said:
"An electric guitar is nothing without amp tone, and Fender amplifiers are the standard by which great amp tones are measured. We're confident that the thrill of plugging into a great tube amp will never die, but we are proud to give digital recording enthusiasts the opportunity to discover and utilize many of the best Fender tones, old and new, with the convenience of PC recording.”
The software is available in two versions. There is a full IK Multimedia Amplitube Fender Edition with a selection of 45 pieces of gear. The IK Multimedia Amplitube Fender Studio has 15 choices for modeling, but also includes an IK Multimedia Stealth Plug meaning you can get involved in playing through Fender equipment right away!
