Pixies to play London dates in June
Electric guitar band the Pixies are to play two intimate shows in London this June, it has been announced.
The group will appear for two successive nights at The Troxy on June 3rd and 4th 2010.
It was said by the band that the "two special shows" will be the "first of many" tour dates on their agenda in the near future, reports NME.
Pixies have already been confirmed as one of the acts at this year's Primavera Sound festival, with their appearance at the Barcelona-based event due to take place on May 28th.
The band, who were said by Kurt Cobain to be one of the major influences on Nirvana, are known for songs such as Here Comes Your Man, Monkey Gone to Heaven and Planet of Sound.
