Pioneer DJ Reveal DDJ-RB and DDJ-RR Rekordbox DJ Controllers
These portable additions are specifically designed for their own rekordbox dj performance software and are the first controllers to support PC Master Out - allowing you to play the master output through your computer / laptop or mac's built-in speakers whilst using your headphones through the controller simultaneously.
Whilst each new controller boasts two channels, the DDJ-RR has a deck select feature enabling you to switch between all four rekordbox dj decks with just one button.
The rekordbox dj performance software also comes with each of these new controllers, which is usually worth just over 100 GBP. The latest rekordbox dj 4.1.1 update is available here. Such software can be used in unique new ways with the DDJ-RB and DDJ-RR respectively. Here, users can sequence call - allowing you to create and save sample sequences without using your computer to do so.
The DDJ-RR also has a new sequence load button to load sample sequences to the deck for scratching.
Pioneer estimate that the DDJ-RB and DDJ-RR are due to be available from May 2016.
