Pink Floyd and Ed Sheeran Olympic team-up planned

Guitars player Ed Sheeran will be playing alongside band Pink Floyd soon...
Great deals on musical instruments
The opening ceremony has only just been and gone, but those already looking forward to the Olympics closing ceremony might like to know that there's been a revelation about the music instrument players who are set to appear.

A famous acoustic guitars player who is going to be turning up, none other than Ed Sheeran, has spoken out about the fact that he'll be playing alongside a famous electric guitars band…

The band in question? Pink Floyd!

"I'm playing the closing ceremony - which I think is kinda cool right?" he said to Nova recently.

"I'm doing a song with Pink Floyd. I'm doing 'Wish You Were Here'." The Lego House and Wake Me Up crooner later added to the Australian radio station.

Sheeran's LP is called '+' and is home to tracks such as Kiss Me, This and Grade 8.

According to the singer, though drums player Nick Mason is going to feature, not all of the Pink Floyd members who are still alive will be there for the upcoming gig.
