Pick up your music instruments for a mega busk
Musicians from across the country are being invited to pick up their music instruments to take part in a special busking event all in the aid of charity.
Philip Little, 33, has organised the Mega BuskAid in Lincoln's Castle Square this Saturday (July 30th) to raise money for the British Heart Foundation, reported the Lincolnshire Echo.
There event is hoping to attract many participants to take part in the day.
"This idea for the Mega BuskAid was born in a pub beer garden one night," said Mr Little. "My friend Eddie Tatton asked if I fancied busking with him and I said I'd be up for it if we could donate the money to charity."
It doesn't matter how good or bad people are as musicians, be it as an instrumentalist or singer, the organisers of the event want people to take part for fun and charity in what is certain to be a memorable day.
Busking is very simply a form of street performance where artists perform to the public and in return are rewarded with donations.
