Piano player Wainwright offers up film news
But the Beauty Mark, Going To a Town and I Don't Know What It Is crooner has explained to Rolling Stone that the project in question – a film – is "by no means a biography".
"It's loosely based on my life - very, very loose. Perhaps it's more of a kind of mythic Rufus that he's trying to create. It stems from some of my past glories and tragic endings, but it's by no means a biography of me or anything," he said to the famous publication recently of the movie, an Enda Walsh collaboration.
And Wainwright's many fans will be able to speculate aplenty as, courtesy of Rolling Stone, they've also been offered-up a working title for the flick: The Great White Way.
Talented music instrument player Wainwright's LPs include Release the Stars, Rufus Wainwright and Want One. He worked alongside Mark Ronson on most recent album, Out of the Game.
