Valued collectively at a mega Â£400,000, they are an important collection that signals the university's commitment to the art form.
The university has become the third in the UK to hit the dizzying heights of musical brilliance with the celebrated All-Steinway School status.
John Pymm, dean of the school, told Creative Boom: "This is an immensely proud moment for us. Steinway is a brand beyond compare and the University of Wolverhampton is delighted to join the prestigious ranks of All-Steinway Schools around the world."
The centre piece of this amazing collection is a Steinway Model C concert grand piano, which many eager pianists will no doubt be keen to have a go on.
