Photos of The Beatles' first US tour to go on sale
The 65 previously unpublished slides show George Harrison using his Rickenbacker guitar and close-up portraits from a press conference at the Las Vegas Sahara Hotel.
The images, taken by Dr Robert Beck, also reveal the band in action at the Las Vegas Convention Centre and shots from a private party at the mansion owned by Capitol Records president Alan Livingston.
It is expected that they will sell for between £10,000 and £15,000 when they go under the hammer on March 22nd, marking the 50thanniversary of the release of The Beatles debut album Please Please Me.
"New photographs that emerge of The Beatles are always of interest to the fans, but with the majority of photographs from this tour in black and white, it is a delight to see colour photographs from that historic tour," said Ernie Sutton from the British Beatles Fan Club.
