Peter Gabriel: Genesis won't reform for Hall of Fame induction
Posted on 22 Jan 2010 11:55 to category : Band / Celebrity News

Peter Gabriel has dashed hopes that he will rejoin Genesis when the band is inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in March.
He told Rolling Stone that he was unlikely to join drummer Phil Collins, keyboard player Tony Banks and bass guitar player Mike Rutherford in any special performance.
"As far as I know, I'm definitely not going to sing," he said.
"I learned at our last reunion [in 1982] that you can't just get up there. You have to rehearse."
Gabriel warned he may not even be able to attend the ceremony as he will be busy rehearsing for an upcoming solo tour of Europe when the event takes place in New York on March 15th 2010.
His new record Scratch My Back has ditched the electric guitar players and drum kits in favour of orchestral instruments.
The album, which is released on February 15th 2010, features a cover of David Bowie classic Heroes, as well as Gabriel's interpretations of Arcade Fire song My Body is a Cage and Radiohead's Street Spirit.
