Paul Weller to support Kings of Leon at Hyde Park
Electric guitar player Paul Weller has confirmed he will be one of the support acts for Kings of Leon's summer shows in Hyde Park.
The veteran musician will play ahead of the indie band's headline slots on June 22nd and 23rd at the London venue.
Weller has said the gigs will be the last chance to see him live in 2011.
"I'm really looking forward to playing the two nights in my home town at Hyde Park with the Kings of Leon," the electric guitar player explained.
"They will be the only shows I'm doing for the rest of this year so we'll make sure they are top."
Also joining Weller and Kings of Leon on the bill will be rising stars White Lies.
The first of the two concerts has sold out but there are still tickets on the sale for the second date.
Kings of Leon will be playing a number of shows in the UK over the summer, including dates at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland, the Lancashire County Cricket Ground in Manchester and Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh.
They are also one of the headliners for this year's Isle of Wight Festival.
