Sir Paul McCartney's bass guitar playing been praised by his former bandmate Ringo Starr.
The two surviving Beatles recently collaborated on a song that is set to appear on Starr's upcoming solo album Y Not, which will be released in January.
According to Starr, Sir Paul is a genius and an "incredible" bass player.
This, he said, is particularly apparent on his contribution to a new track called Walk With You.
"He makes it bigger and he makes it fuller," Starr commented.
"It makes the song like a conversation between us - that was Paul's idea to do his part one beat behind me."
Starr added that he played Walk With You to Sir Paul for the first time when the bassist was recording his contribution to another song called Peace Dream.
Sir Paul apparently came up with the idea for his bass guitar line straight away.
The two former Beatles recently shared the stage together at a charity gig in New York, performing With a Little Help from My Friends and I Saw Her Standing There.
