Paul McCartney admits to on-stage nerves
Posted on 10 May 2010 16:15 to category : Band / Celebrity News

Guitar legend Sir Paul McCartney has admitted in a radio interview that he still gets nervous before gigs, especially if the venue is a small one.
Speaking to Absolute Radio, McCartney said he struggles with certain types of audience and has worries about performing for a corporate crowd who may not be interested in the music, according to Gibson.com.
"It can be people who really don't like rock 'n' roll and you're sitting there going 'Yeah, we're going to have a great time tonight', and they're just chatting to each other," the star said.
McCartney will be performing in Mexico at the end of May and will then play several gigs back in the UK during the following month.
Dates are scheduled for gigs in Dublin, Cardiff, Glasgow and the Isle of Wight, with a show in London's Hyde Park rounding off the tour.
During The Beatles' career, McCartney played bass guitar and wrote many of the band's hit songs.
His career after the group has included long periods of work with his band Wings.
