Paul McCartney 'a flop on Rock Band'
Posted on 7 Dec 2009 18:00 to category : Instruments News

Paul McCartney may be renowned as one of the best bass guitar players in the world, but he is apparently less skilled at video games.
The legendary musician recently tried his hand at The Beatles: Rock Band and attempted to play his own songs on the easy setting.
However, he told the Times that he lost twice, even though he was simulating his own instrument.
"I was playing bass, I'm ashamed to say," he commented.
"It's all red and green and yellow buttons. I said, 'can we start this again?'"
McCartney added that he is not exactly "Mr Tech" and had to have his assistant show him how to set up the game.
The Rock Band and Guitar Hero franchises have already generated some controversy among musicians, as some have warned they are stopping people from learning real musical instruments.
Former Rolling Stones bassist Bill Wyman has been among those to criticise the games for this reason, along with Led Zeppelin's electric guitar player Jimmy Page.
