Paramore auction guitars and clothing to aid Japanese relief efforts
Rock band Paramore have decided to conduct an online 'yard sale' to raise money for the relief efforts currently taking place in Japan.
They have listed an initial 30 items on eBay, which are up for grabs until April 2nd.
A selection of t-shirts, trousers, jackets and hats have gone on sale, while an acoustic guitar has also been donated by the group.
The sale will continue next week, with a further 30 pieces of band memorabilia being put up for auction on Monday (April 4th).
All of the proceeds will go directly to the Japanese Red Cross, which is helping to get the country back on its feet following the devastating effects of the recent earthquake and tsunami.
While the current auction is only open to bidders from the US, Paramore have said next week's list of items will be available across the world.
Earlier this week, the Sun reported that talks about staging a 'supergig' at Wembley Arena featuring a host of top acts are ongoing between Sony, Universal and concert promoters Live Nation.
The proposed concert would raise money for the Japanese relief effort and may go ahead next month.
