Paramore announce tracklisting for new album
The self-titled record will contain 17 tracks and represents the follow-up to 2009's Brand New Eyes. It will be the first without two of the founding members, brothers Josh and Zac Farro, who left the band in 2010.
Paramore released a trailer for the new album last week (January 15th) which shows the group writing material for the record as well as audio clips of the soon to be released songs.
Lead singer Hayley Williams recently revealed that the record has been inspired by artists such as Alt-J but maintained that the new tracks will not sound like any of these groups.
"I'd be lying if I said we didn't collectively listen to more electronic music during this process than ever before. I think it's just because that genre is super hot right now. Even so, I wouldn't say we sound like any of those bands," Williams added.
Paramore have so far released one single from the upcoming album, with Now being launched on iTunes on January 22nd.
