Orange OPC Amp Used To Smash World Record
Orange's new OPC guitar amp has been used by endorsed guitarist Tiago Della Vega to break the world's fastest guitarist record.
The world's first computer of its kind made for guitarists and musicians was put through its paces earlier in January at the CES show in Las Vegas by world record holder Tiago Della Vega without any latency issues.
Playing Nikolai Rimsky Korsakov's Flight of the Bumble Bee, Vega beat his previous world record of 320 BPM secured in 2009 by and extra 20 BMP playing it at and impressive 340 BPM without any errors.
Intel were demonstrating the new upgrade 2nd Generation i5 chip used in the Orange OPC computer amp.
The OPC uses the latest in sound and computer technology combined to power the software and music making it ideal for guitarists and musicians wanting to play, record and edit all in one amp.
Following on from Vegas world record attempt success using the OPC Orange have shown that the amp can cope with any situation and doesn't loose any marks in latency, reliability, speed, power or sound.Posted on 28 Jan 2011 11:39 to category : Instruments News
