One Direction members learning guitar?
Posted on 3 Jul 2012 16:36 to category : Band / Celebrity News

Well, if they're a fan of boy band One Direction, the task may just have become simpler.
Four of the singers are currently giving the guitar a go, according to The Sun – which might make them the perfect role models for guitar strumming youngsters.
It comes after the group had guitars presented to them by another band, Boyce Avenue.
Apparently the instruments - Taylor axes - are worth some £20,000 – doubtless many Gear4Music readers would be more than a little pleased to have that sort of money to spend on music instruments!
"The 1D boys were really grateful but it was a bit of a pointless present as only Niall can play guitar. Harry, Liam, Zayn and Louis are now desperately trying to learn because it was a really kind gift," the Sun's source claimed.
According to the interviewee, the fact that the guitars were individually engraved as a reminder of a tour - on which, the Sun says, One Direction were supported by Boyce Avenue - means that the four less guitar-knowledgeable One Direction members "feel obliged to learn a few chords now".
One Direction are well known for their singles such as What Makes You Beautiful and One Thing.
