Odyssey launches new Symphonique range
The company took to this year's Musikmesse 2013 in Frankfurt, Germany, to debut the new products, and the first instrument in this range is the Alan Morrison Signature Cornet which is a result of a painstaking design process.
The Symphonique range is a collaboration between Alan Morrison and master designer Peter Pollard which has been tailored to the renowned player's unique specifications featuring a host of premium materials and innovative construction techniques.
Both collaborators have spoke about the instrument being able to create a "wonderfully pure and bright tone".
Morrison, who has played in famous bands such as the Brighouse & Rastrick Band, said: "It's extremely well made, aesthetically it's very bright and positive, and it just plays so well! I find it quite exciting to have my name associated with such a good instrument, which is going to be distributed worldwide."
Odyssey also announced the launch of two new flutes to add to its Premiere range, with the introduction of the OFL300SHJ and the OFL400 which both produce high quality, performance and tone.
