Oasis classics to get new airing
The Wonderwall star is set to perform the songs with his post-Oasis project, the band Beady Eye.
"I feel they're just as much my songs as they are Noel's," said Liam of his ex-Oasis band mate and brother in an XFM chat.
"And if people don't like it, go to the bar...If they do like it, jump up and down, let's have a good time," the Manchester singer added.
"It's time to drop [Oasis music] in now. Everyone else is," Liam said, explaining his decision. Noel Gallagher has already gigged with some of the group's old material.
Oasis released singles such as D'You Know What I Mean?, Roll With It and Songbird and had eight number one songs according to the Official Charts Company.
Liam said that a gig at the Fuji Festival in Japan this summer would see the stalwart tunes' return.
