Novation Ultranova synthesizer details revealed

Details of the new Novation Ultranova synthesizer have been revealed by the company.
The piece of musical equipment builds on Novation's popular Supernova and Supernova II synths, with the Ultranova designed to suit everyone from beginners to committed keyboard players.
It comes with a 37-note Fatar keybed, a 144-character LCD and eight assignable touch-sensitive rotary encoders, reports MI-Pro.
"Described as its 'secret weapon', the Ultranova's new Touch tool is a unique system that allows the eight encoders to react precisely to finger contact," the news provider explained.
The Novation keyboard also comes with a newly designed single-part synth engine, which has up to five effects slots, 14 filter types, 18 voices and 36 wavetables.
Users of the musical instrument will be able to employ up to 300 onboard sounds when playing the advice.
The sound options have been arranged by type and musical genre, making it simple for users to browse through them.
