Novation MiniNova Synthesizer Launched

Novation's new super-cool compact performance synth has the same sound engine as its bigger brother, the UltraNova. With 256 onboard sounds that can be tweaked with 5 knobs or completely warped with the use of 8 "Animate" buttons.
This stand out compact synthesizer has a powerful synth engine, not often seen in synthesizers of this size and it gives you 14 conventional waveforms, 36 wavetables and 20 digital waveforms.
The MiniNova also gives you 14 filter types, 2 of which can be run simultaneously, 6 envelope generators, 3 LFO's and 20 modulation slots where modules of the synth engine can be linked together to shape sound.
MiniNova gives users the chance to add up to 5 effects to each voice , including distortion, reverb, chorus/phase, delay, compressor, EQ and Novation's very own unique "Gator Effect." The Novation MiniNova also comes with a software application that allows visual access to the synth engine.
The MiniNova Editor works as a plug-in within your chosen DAW or Music Software. So although one can use the hardware to edit sounds, the bundled software simply makes it easier to see what changes are being made.
