Noel Gallagher to perform with Kasabian
The Manchester-born musician, who acrimoniously split from Oasis during the summer, is good friends with the band, who have achieved hits such as Fire and Shoot the Runner.
According to vocalist Tom Meighan, Noel Gallagher will play electric guitar with Kasabian on several songs at each gig.
"He's a performing machine and loves playing live, so he jumps at the opportunity whenever he can join us," he told the News of the World.
Meighan added that although Kasabian are very busy and Noel is concentrating on his solo work, he would welcome a collaboration between them in the recording studio.
"Never say never," he stated.
Kasabian's UK tour gets underway in Newcastle on November 10th and will also call at cities including Aberdeen, Glasgow, London, Birmingham, Manchester and Cardiff.
