Noel Gallagher to head back to Manchester
Posted on 4 Nov 2009 11:06 to category : Band / Celebrity News

Electric guitar player Noel Gallagher has announced his intention to relocate back to Manchester.
The former Oasis star has lived in the capital since the band became famous in the mid-1990s.
However, he stated that London has "lost its spark" in recent years and that would rather live in the north-west again.
Speaking to the Evening Standard, Gallagher said: "I've been advised to do a Rod Stewart, as in a tax exile, but I don't want to do it."
Gallagher walked out on Oasis during the summer, saying he could not carry on working with his brother Liam any longer.
The departure of the band's main songwriter, who wrote hits such as Don't Look Back In Anger, Wonderwall and Supersonic, spelled the end of the long-running band.
Meanwhile, Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees has said he was surprised Oasis stayed together as long as they did.
He told the Daily Mirror that Liam and Noel's stormy relationship reminded him of his own feuds with his brothers.
