Noel Gallagher could pen new Bond tune
Gallagher, who is massively famously in the UK, is said to be lined up to produce the theme tune for the next James Bond.
The former Oasis creative force, who is currently promoting his debut studio album, is to hold talks with studio bosses in Los Angeles about penning a song for Skyfall, which will be the 23rd Bond movie.
"They're going to be talking about potentially writing and performing the song for next year's new Bond film," a source told the Sun.
"Nothing is signed or official, it's just being discussed at the moment."
Other names attached to the prestigious assignment include crooner Michael Buble and British singing sensation Adele.
Gallagher recently told the Daily Record that he believed he was now an "outsider" in the music business.
"It might be fun being on the outside for a while," he said.
"Those days of selling millions of albums and being in the charts and all that, that as great. But I never thought it would last forever. And now it's kind of like I'm just trying to make records that will last forever."
