Noel Gallagher and Damon Albarn the best of friends again
Back in the 90s, when Gallagher was rocking his guitar for Oasis and Albarn was banging out the tunes for Blur, the two bands naturally become rivals to one another, one which spilled into hatred.
The defining moment came in 1995 when they ended up going head-to-head in the singles charts, with Blur coming out as victors with their massive hit Country House.
Since then they've not spoke to one another. However, a chance encounter has since changed all that.
Speaking to Shortlist, Gallagher said he bumped into the Blur singer randomly, which was the first time he had since Albarn in person since 1995.
The singer-songwriter said: "I bump into him in some club. We both went, 'Hey! [Blooming] hell!' and then he said, 'Come on, let’s go for a beer.'
"So, we’re sitting there, having a beer, just going, 'What was all that about 15 years ago? That was mental.' Then he said, 'It was a great time, though,' and I was like, 'Yeah, it was a good laugh.' It was cool, man."
