Noah and the Whale reunited with stolen gear
Noah and the Whale were staying at a hotel in Manchester in September after playing a gig in the city when thieves got hold of items including a Gibson Les Paul, a Fender Telecaster and a Ludwig drum kit.
The band were forced to see out the rest of the tour with borrowed equipment, but now the missing gear has turned up in Lincolnshire.
According to Spinner, the thieves encountered problems with their getaway vehicle and therefore stashed the equipment in a barn.
However, the owner of the barn later realised what all the equipment really was after spotting the band's name stenciled on the flight cases.
The band are currently gearing up for a gig at the Roundhouse in London, before undertaking a tour of France in March.
They will be calling at destinations including Paris, Nantes, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Lyon and Dijon.Posted on 11 Jan 2010 20:00 to category : Instruments News
