Nirvana to battle it out with Little Mix
X Factor 'haters' and Nirvana fans have banded together to launch another campaign in the spirit the passionate movement to get Rage Against The Machine's Killing in the Name as Christmas number one in 2009.
Now the stuff of music history, Rage Against the Machine's Facebook campaign did indeed pip Joe McElderry, who has since gone on to reinvent himself as a classical singer.
Likewise, another Facebook crusade has been set up to cause another upset – and it has the backing, support and expertise of Jon Morter, whose was responsible for the 2009 campaign.
However, he reckons it will be a lot harder this time around – the Rage Against the Machine campaign was tough enough, he admitted.
"There's a lot more at stake," Mr Morter said.
"The Military Wives single has got a very big amount of pre-orders. In complete honesty, I think that's the one to keep an eye out for."
