Nine Inch Nails to return in the summer
Front man Trent Reznor confirmed that the industrial rock outfit will be touring in the coming year and he has been working with guitarist Adrian Belew on some new material which could surface in the near future.
Reznor explained that the latest incarnation of Nine Inch Nails will comprise of Eric Avery, Belew, Alessandro Cortini, Josh Eustis, Ilan Rubin. The front man explained that the band "is reinventing itself from scratch".
A statement from Reznor read: "Calls were made to some friends, lots of new ideas were discussed, and a show was booked - which led to another, which somehow led to a lot of shows.
"The first shows will begin this summer, followed by a full-on arena tour of the US this fall, and lots of other dates worldwide to follow through 2014. Lots of details and dates to come."
Nine Inch Nails went on an indefinite hiatus in 2009 and the band have not set foot on UK shores since two shows in July of that year alongside Jane's Addiction and Mew.
