Nicola Roberts ready for Girls Aloud reunion
Nicola Roberts can't wait to be reunited with her Girls Aloud bandmates.
The 'Loving Kind' girl group - which also consists of Cheryl Cole, Nadine Coyle, Sarah Harding and Kimberley Walsh - are currently on a year-long break, but Nicola is looking forward to recording more tunes with them.
Speaking at a party for luxurious footwear designer Gianmarco Lorenzi at his London store, she told BANG Showbiz: "We're still on our 12-month break but I really can't wait to get back with the girls. It will be good to spend time with them again, especially Cheryl as she's been so busy lately so it's hard to find a time to see her."
Cheryl has become a huge solo star since the girls started their sabbatical in September, having a number one hit with 'Fight for This Love' and is flying across the globe to promote her debut album '3 Words'.
However, one member Nicola may not be so keen on seeing is Nadine - as she admits the pair still haven't spoken to each other for over six months.
When asked if she and Nadine had cleared the air following recent reports about the silence between them, a sheepish Nicola said: "I haven't spoken to her."
Nicola recently revealed Nadine hadn't since they supported Coldplay in London last September.
She said: "If I'm really honest, we haven't spoken to Nadine since we did the Coldplay gig at Wembley in September. I talked to the other girls about it no, none of us have heard from her. But there is no feud."
Nadine currently lives in Los Angeles and is putting the finishing touches to her debut solo LP, and has previously denied claims she is delaying a Girls Aloud reunion.Posted on 26 Apr 2010 07:00 to category : Band / Celebrity News
